WE LOVE WHAT WE DO

The Crowthers Photo & Film has been running for 7+ years and we absolutely love what we do and yes, we also love working together. We both studied fine art at university before navigating our way into this amazing job! We have a breadth of experience in photo and film that we have passionately developed for weddings. We’re all about being relaxed on your day, capturing all the natural moments. We don’t spend every second pulling you away from family & friends. We keep group photos quick and organised and couples photos relaxed and personal. We offer as much advice as you’d like when planning your day to help you feel relaxed and stress free. We want you to enjoy your day and party hard into the night!

FAMILY LIFE

When were not wedding-ing, we’re at home in Sheffield with our daughter Theodora, our two cats Albert & Winnie & our five chickens Bronwyn, Myfanwy, Gwendolyn, Arwen & Tonwen (they are rescued battery hens from Wales, hence the names). We love being at home, gardening, growing veg, Alexandra has taken up running, we enjoy reading in the evenings, cooking good food and patting the cats! When we do venture further we love cycling cities, fancy meals out, a really good latte & experiencing new cultures.

 OUR WEDDING

We got married in 2019 in Copenhagen with 5 guests and planned it all under 3 months. We chose to have a best person, Alexandra wore a yellow dress and we walked into the room together. The night ended with Alexandra trying to cycle back to the fancy Airbnb drunk on cocktails. We absolutely and passionately recommend organising your wedding that speaks to who you are and what you enjoy, which is exactly what we did.
