With onsite space to get ready, the brick barn, the grain shed and the courtyard as well as woodland and open space to enjoy - there’s lots of options at this luxury wedding venue. A family owned venue which offers a modern country wedding space with beautiful North Yorkshire views. We’re also one of their recommended suppliers, too and absolutely love this venue!

The Crowthers Photo and Film is a wedding photography and film team based in Sheffield. We pride ourselves on making your photos & films compliment each other. We are a married team capturing photos & films for weddings and we love what we do. We find the sentimental moments, we find the romantic moments & everything in between.

The open space
The open space of fields is where it’s at for golden hour photos (when the sun begins to set). You can get some gorgeous light through the trees as the sun sets next to the barn. This is perfect for late evening photos/videos.
The Barns & Wooden Doors
There’s so much availability for beautiful backdrops at Lodge Farm, it’s hard to choose! But these gorgeous green doors just before entering the courtyard make for a lovely little spot for couple’s portraits.
Time of Year
Green space can look different at different times of the year. If you find yourself marrying in spring, you might be in luck having a few shots in the field through the gate passed the car park. This is a nice juxtaposition to couple’s portraits featuring the barn.

The courtyard from all corners offers such variety for photos in general and not just group photos. It’s really lovely to incorporate the space of your wedding venue in your group photos so you can capture the memory of the whole space.
